Pur riconoscendo irregolarità nell’arricchimento dell’uranio (fino al 60%), ha chiarito che un’arma richiederebbe ancora anni. Anche 17 agenzie di intelligence statunitensi confermano che non esiste alcuna minaccia nucleare imminente da parte iraniana.
Se non esiste una “pistola fumante”, su quali basi si possono giustificare minacce o attacchi all’Iran? Non ci sono prove concrete, solo motivazioni politiche. Se ogni potenziale pericolo giustificasse un attacco, si dovrebbero bombardare decine di Paesi. Questa operazione appare invece mirata a delegittimare il regime iraniano, usando un pretesto di sicurezza inesistente. Ci si chiede perché all’Iran sia vietato sviluppare l’arma nucleare, mentre altri Paesi (si pensi a #Cina, #Pakistan o #Israele) non subiscano restrizioni simili. L’Accordo nucleare di #Obama e le ispezioni dell’AIEA sono valide per l’Iran, ma non vengono fatte per Israele, che dichiara di non possedere armi atomiche senza verifiche indipendenti. Questo crea una pericolosa disparità di trattamento.
