Fußball-EM: Gastgewerbe konnte kaum profitieren

Die Fußball-Europameisterschaft in Deutschland hat dem Gastgewerbe nach Ansicht des Hotel- und Gaststättenverbands DEHOGA „erwartungsgemäß keine Umsatzzuwächse“ beschert. Wie der Verband mitteilte, sagten in einer Unternehmensumfrage 88 Prozent, dass sie keine positiven Effekte durch die EM verzeichnen konnten. Nur für 8,1 Prozent ergaben sich demnach positive Impulse durch das Fußballturnier.

Dabei gab es je nach Standort und Art des Betriebs große Unterschiede. Bei den Kneipen, Bars und Biergärten zeigten sich 32,1 Prozent zufrieden. Auch in den Städten, in denen Spiele ausgetragen wurden, ist die Stimmung mit Blick auf die EM der Umfrage zufolge im Gastgewerbe besser als andernorts. „Etwas getrübt wurde die Feierlaune insbesondere durch das wechselhafte Wetter und das Ausscheiden unserer Mannschaft im Viertelfinale“, sagte DEHOGA-Präsident Guido Zöllick laut einer Mitteilung.
