JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Putra sulung Presiden RI ke-3, BJ Habibie yakni Ilham Akbar Habibie diusung Partai Nasdem untuk maju di Pemilihan Gubernur (Pilgub) Jawa Barat.Menurut Ilham, membangun wilayah bisa melalui berbagai cara, seperti dengan menjadi ilmuwan atau pengusaha. Namun, Ilham melihat apabila ingin membuat suatu perubahan yang substansial, maka perlu masuk ke dalam pemerintahan.
Ilham Habibie mengatakan dirinya adalah orang yang memiliki idealisme.
Meski lama tinggal di Jerman, ia memutuskan pulang kembali ke Indonesia untuk membangun negara sesuai didikan orang tua.
Ilham Habibie mengatakan dirinya serius dan punya semangat untuk memimpin Jawa Barat.
Ia mengaku pernah tinggal di Bandung. Bahkan ia juga belajar Bahasa Sunda.
Rosi pun sedikit menguji kemampuan Ilham berbahasa Sunda.
