NACDA Captains Sophia Groth & Jami Morris join the ESPYS red carpet (📍 @allstate) | 2025 ESPYS
The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team honors the best of college sports: The student-athletes who show up for their communities as passionately as they do for their teams.Launched in partnership with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), the program recognizes athletes across all divisions and all college sports who are making a meaningful difference through service and leadership. This new initiative builds on Allstate’s long-standing support of college athletics, including the iconic Good Hands field goal nets and the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team in football. By expanding beyond the gridiron, Allstate and NACDA are creating more opportunities to celebrate student-athletes who lead with integrity, purpose, and heart.
Sophia Groth is a leader on the mat and in her community. She advocates for student-parents at Auburn University through Baby Steps, a nonprofit that provides housing, support, and resources to help parents complete their degrees. She also organized the Big House Toy Drive, delivering holiday gifts to children in need across Alabama. As President of Auburn’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Sophia amplifies student-athlete voices, champions outreach initiatives, and represents Auburn Athletics on a national platform.
Jami Morris launched Hit Fore Hope when her mother was diagnosed with lymphoma. Now, it's one of Northeast Ohio’s most successful student-led cancer fundraisers. In just three years, Jami has raised more than $410,000 for the Seidman Cancer Center in Cleveland, directly supporting patient care and breakthrough treatments. A two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, Jami leads with both compassion and drive, on the course and in her community.
