Председатель Военного комитета НАТО адмирал Джузеппе Каво Драгоне в интервью телеканалу FREEДОМ заявил, что Украина за годы полномасштабной войны не только сохранила свою государственность, но и доказала свою способность защищать суверенитет на поле боя. По его словам, украинское сопротивление заслужило глубокое уважение во всём мире.Отдельно адмирал отметил растущую гибридную угрозу со стороны России — от диверсий на море до появления дронов в воздушном пространстве Европы. Именно Украина, по его словам, одной из первых столкнулась с масштабом этой опасности, которую теперь вынуждены учитывать европейские страны.
Опыт боевых действий в Украине также существенно повлиял на военное планирование НАТО. Современная война высокой интенсивности показала необходимость быстро адаптировать технологии, менять подходы к ведению боевых действий и сохранять достаточный объём ресурсов для длительного противостояния.
