TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM- Unit Tindak Pidana Tertentu (Tipidter) Satreskrim Polresta Jambi berhasil mengungkap kasus perdagangan ilegal bagian tubuh satwa dilindungi. Dalam operasi yang dilakukan pada Senin (24/2) sekitar pukul 16.30 WIB, polisi menangkap tiga pelaku yang hendak menjual sisik trenggiling seberat 10 kilogram.
Kapolresta Jambi Kombes Pol Boy Siregar melalui Kasi Humas IPDA Deddy menjelaskan bahwa pengungkapan kasus ini berawal dari laporan masyarakat.
Informasi tersebut menyebutkan adanya transaksi jual beli sisik trenggiling di Jalan Raden Fatah, Kelurahan Sijenjang, Kecamatan Jambi Timur.
Menindaklanjuti laporan itu, tim Unit Tipidter melakukan penyelidikan dan memastikan kebenaran informasi. Setelah dilakukan penyamaran dengan metode undercover buy, petugas berhasil melakukan tangkap tangan terhadap tiga pelaku yang terlibat dalam transaksi ilegal tersebut. (*)
