Russia-Ukraine: Zelenskyy proposes peace talks in letter to Putin
The American Enterprise Institute's Michael Rubin joins LiveNOW's Alexandra Goldberg to discuss Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin in which he proposed direct peace talks to end the years-long war between the two countries.President Donald Trump backed the plan, saying "get it done." In the letter, Zelenskyy said, "We see that the United States is fully focused on the issue of Iran, and it would be wrong to simply wait until the war in Europe returns to the center of its attention. Ukraine proposes ending this war through direct engagement between us — and you."
