Besaran PBB Naik, Rasa Keadilan Terusik
Banyaknya jumlah peserta demo di depan Kantor DPRD Pati, Jawa Tengah, menggambarkan kemarahan warga atas kebijakan besaran iuran Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan (PBB) yang dicanangkan oleh Bupati Sudewo beberapa waktu lalu. Sesudah polemik mengenai kenaikan PBB-P2 itu bergulir, Sudewo akhirnya membatalkan kebijakan tersebut.Namun, ternyata aksi warga yang dilakukan karena memprotes kenaikan PBB itu bukan hanya terjadi di Pati. Selama bulan ini saja, ada beberapa daerah yang juga warganya melakukan protes bahkan sampai menggelar aksi menolak kenaikan PBB yang berkali-kali lipat. Sebenarnya apa yang terjadi dengan penerapan kenaikan PBB yang terkesan tidak berpihak kepada rakyat ini? Apakah kenaikan pajak PBB demi kemaslahatan warga adalah hal yang wajar, atau ada yang salah dalam kebijakan PBB daerah ini?
