Rosa Ricci ha quindici anni e un’eredità ingombrante: è figlia di uno dei boss più temuti della città. È una ragazzina schiva, che vive in una gabbia dorata protetta da Don Salvatore e del suo clan. Quando viene rapita da un narcotrafficante intenzionato a colpire suo padre, Rosa si ritrova prigioniera su un’isola remota. Minacciata e costantemente in pericolo, durante la sua prigionia, intraprende però un percorso di crescita e stringe un legame profondo che le darà forza e una nuova consapevolezza.Mentre il padre scatena una guerra per salvarla, Rosa non aspetta di essere salvata: progetta la sua fuga.
