Disponible jusqu'au 14/01/2029Dès son retour à la Maison-Blanche, Donald Trump a confié les rênes de son ministère de la santé à un homme ouvertement vaccino-sceptique : Robert Kennedy Jr, neveu de l’ancien président JFK. Leur alliance politique scellée durant la campagne de 2024 a donné naissance au mouvement Maha (Make America Healthy Again), petite sœur du mouvement Maga de Donald Trump, censé rendre l’Amérique saine à nouveau.
Poussé par un sentiment anti-vaccin de plus en plus répandu au sein de sa base électorale depuis la pandémie de Covid 19, Donald Trump a confié à RFK Jr la mission de réformer la politique vaccinale des États-Unis. Depuis un an, ce dernier a non seulement réduit les recommandations vaccinales et les programmes de recherche sur de nouveaux vaccins, mais il a aussi lancé une purge au sein des agences de santé publique tout en accusant les vaccins ARN Messager d’être dangereux pour la santé. Face à cette révolution Maha, de nombreux scientifiques traditionnels, marginalisés par le nouveau ministre de la Santé américain, sonnent l’alarme. Ils craignent le retour de maladies contagieuses mortelles disparues depuis des décennies. C’est particulièrement le cas dans les États républicains comme la Floride qui se veut un laboratoire Maha, galvanisé par un discours anti-vaccin désormais poussé jusqu’au sommet de Maison-Blanche.
