Dalam keterangannya di Den Haag, Belanda, Rabu (25/6), Trump bersikeras bahwa serangan yang menggunakan pesawat bomber siluman B-2 telah menghancurkan sepenuhnya fasilitas nuklir Iran pada Sabtu pekan lalu.
Trump bahkan menyebut tiga media yang mengutip laporan intelijen tersebut menyampaikan kabar bohong.
Ketika ditanya wartawan soal Iran yang akan membangun kembali program nuklirnya, Trump mengatakan bahwa lokasi tersebut sudah hancur dan luluh lantak.
Penghancuran situs nuklir Iran ini jadi pemicu terjadinya gencatan senjata antara Teheran dan Tel Aviv.
