Yeşil ya da diğer adıyla hususi damgalı pasaporta sahip bir Türkiye Cumhuriyeti vatandaşı bugün 150’den fazla ülkeye vizesiz girebiliyor.Schengen bölgesindeki ülkeler de bu pasaport türüne vize istemiyor.
Hazine ve Maliye Bakanlığı'nın verilerine göre basılan yeşil pasaport sayısı son yıllarda arttı.
Yıllar boyunca yalnızca belirli statüdeki kamu görevlilerine verilen yeşil pasaport, son dokuz yılda bazı özel sektör çalışanlarını da kapsadı.
Uygulamanın, farklı meslek gruplarına açılması yeni talepleri de beraberinde getiriyor. Mühendisler, mimarlar ve veterinerler yeşil pasaport hakkı talep eden mesleklerden bazıları.
