Menurutnya, kehadiran langsung Presiden RI di forum internasional tersebut merupakan langkah penting dalam diplomasi global dan representasi konstitusional Indonesia.
“Ini merupakan pidato Presiden Republik Indonesia yang ditunggu-tunggu setelah hampir 10 tahun tidak ada Presiden Indonesia yang hadir di sidang PBB,” ujar Puan di Kompleks Parlemen, Senayan, Jakarta, Senin (22/9/2025).
Puan menilai, pidato tersebut memiliki potensi membawa dampak positif tidak hanya di level diplomasi internasional, tetapi juga dalam membangun kepercayaan publik terhadap posisi Indonesia di dunia.
“Kami mengharapkan pidato Pak Presiden Prabowo nantinya akan bisa membawa suasana segar yang membanggakan bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia,” katanya.
Ia juga menyoroti substansi pidato yang diperkirakan akan mencakup isu-isu strategis, termasuk Palestina.
“Tentu saja akan banyak hal yang disampaikan oleh Presiden Prabowo sebagai Presiden Republik Indonesia yang sudah dipersiapkan oleh pemerintah. Mungkin salah satunya ya itu terkait dengan isu Palestina, saya juga belum tahu apa yang akan beliau sampaikan,” ucapnya.
