Usai Rapat dengan Jokowi, Menkes Sebut Harga Obat RI 5 Kali Lebih Mahal dari Malaysia
Menteri Kesehatan (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin mengungkapkan, harga obat di Indonesia lima kali lebih mahal dibandingkan harga obat di Malaysia.Hal tersebut disampaikan Budi usai mengikuti rapat yang dipimpin Presiden Joko Widodo (Jokowi) terkait alat kesehatan dan obat-obatan.
Awalnya, Budi berharap harga alat kesehatan dan obat-obatan dapat disamakan dengan negara-negara tetangga Indonesia. Sebab, katanya, saat ini harga alkes dan obat-obatan dinilai mahal.
"Pertama, harga alat kesehatan dan obat-obatan itu bisa sama dong dengan negara tetangga. Kan di kita harga alkes dan obat-obatan mahal," kata Budi di Kompleks Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, Selasa (2/7/2024).
Budi menjelaskan, harga obat di Indonesia lima kali lebih mahal dibandingkan dengan harga obat di Malaysia.
"Tadi juga disampaikan bahwa perbedaan harga obat itu 3 kali, 5 kali dibandingkan dengan di Malaysia misalnya. 300 persen kan, 500 persen," jelasnya.
"Ada biaya-biaya yang mungkin harusnya tidak harus dikeluarkan. Kan ujung-ujungnya yang beli juga kan pemerintah juga," lanjutnya.
