How much screen time is okay for kids — and how much freedom should they have with gadgets?Today I'm sharing the screen time rules that actually work in our house, why we stopped iPads at restaurants, and why I never punish my kids with dessert.
While we talk, I'm cooking a warm salad I made on repeat for a very long time: maitake and shiitake mushrooms with sautéed spinach and beans plus a little trick I learned in a Greek restaurant 🤫
What you need:
Maitake and shiitake mushrooms
Onion
Spinach and a little garlic
Beans
Avocado oil
Salt, pepper, shawarma spice and paprika
Lemon juice
Plain unsweetened coconut yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
Fry the mushrooms with onion for 5–8 minutes, sauté the spinach with garlic for 5 minutes, warm up the beans, season everything, finish with lemon juice — and add a spoon of yogurt on the side.
