Respons Video Pemintaan Maaf Band Sukatani, PBHI: Diduga Ada Intimidasi dari Polisi
KOMPAS.TV - Grup band punk asal Purbalingga, Jawa Tengah, Sukatani, menyampaikan permintaan maaf terkait lirik dalam lagu mereka yang berjudul Bayar-Bayar-Bayar.Dalam video yang diunggah di akun Instagram Sukatani Band, dua personel band, Muhamad Syifa Al Lutfi dan Novi Citra, menyampaikan permintaan maaf kepada Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Mereka menjelaskan bahwa yang dimaksud dalam lagu tersebut adalah oknum polisi, bukan institusi kepolisian secara keseluruhan.
Sebagai tindak lanjut, Sukatani menarik lagu mereka dari semua platform musik dan meminta agar warganet tidak lagi menggunakan lagu tersebut.
Mereka juga menegaskan bahwa pernyataan maaf ini dibuat tanpa ada paksaan dari pihak mana pun.
Polda Jawa Tengah memberikan klarifikasi bahwa pihaknya hanya melakukan pemeriksaan terhadap pembuat dan penyanyi lagu, serta membantah adanya tekanan atau intimidasi terhadap band Sukatani.
Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Tengah, Kombes Artanto, menegaskan bahwa kepolisian tidak antikritik dan tetap menghargai kebebasan berekspresi melalui seni.
Namun, Perhimpunan Bantuan Hukum dan Hak Asasi Manusia Indonesia (PBHI) menanggapi langkah band Sukatani dengan dugaan adanya intimidasi dan ancaman dari anggota Polri.
PBHI menilai tindakan ini berpotensi melanggar jaminan hak kebebasan berekspresi dalam seni, sebagaimana diatur dalam undang-undang.
