Russland intensiviert den Informationskrieg. Moskau wirft der Ukraine vor, für die Fortführung des Krieges verantwortlich zu sein. Außerdem sollen die Ukrainer eine Residenz von Wladimir Putin in der Region Nowgorod mit Drohnen angegriffen haben. Ex-Nato-General Erhard Bühler erklärt im Podcast, warum er der russischen Darstellung nicht glaubt. Er sagt: "Diesen Angriff hat es nicht gegeben. Dieser Angriff ist als Lüge in die Welt gesetzt worden, um die Gespräche in Florida zu beeinflussen." In den USA hat es weitere Gespräche über Wege zu einer Waffenruhe und zu einem Frieden gegeben. Die Präsidenten Trump und Selenskyj haben sich dazu getroffen. Die Erwartungen an das Format dürften nicht zu hoch sein, findet Bühler.Militärische Lage: Die Lage der ukrainischen Armee ist an vielen Frontabschnitten schwierig. Doch ein Großteil der russischen Erfolgsmeldungen stimmt laut Bühler nicht. Die russische Armee komme weiter nur langsam voran.
