YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Ayah Christiano Tarigan, tersangka dalam kecelakaan maut yang menewaskan mahasiswa UGM, Argo Ericko Achfandi, akhirnya muncul ke publik.Sosok bernama Setia Budi Tarigan ini menyampaikan permintaan maaf atas insiden yang melibatkan putranya.
Setia Budi menegaskan bahwa pihaknya akan mengikuti seluruh proses hukum yang berlaku dan menyerahkan penanganan kasus ini sepenuhnya kepada aparat penegak hukum.
Ia juga membantah tuduhan bahwa pihaknya telah memberikan uang damai kepada keluarga korban. Menurutnya, komunikasi yang dilakukan selama ini hanya sebatas pengurusan jenazah dan proses pemakaman Argo.
