如果他就是看著你不說話，怎麼辦？｜Z世代凝視，一種新的回應【一天聽一點261006】

你很認真地給了一段建議，對面的年輕人只是看著你，沒有接話，也沒有什麼表情。你開始懷疑：他有在聽嗎？我好心幫忙，怎麼連一句回應都沒有？

這種被稱為「Z 世代凝視」的反應，讓不少人感到困惑。但沒接話，可能是還在想、不知道怎麼接，也可能是他不願意配合。只憑一張沒有表情的臉，我們還看不出原因。

這一集，我想和四十歲、五十幾歲的朋友，聊聊我為什麼從不理解，開始欣賞其中某些選擇。

我們常常怕得罪人，就算不舒服，也會勉強配合。前輩同一段故事講了四次，還得演出第一次聽見的驚訝。這個演技，實在值得頒獎。

在工作裡，依照要求管理自己的情緒，叫作「情緒勞務」。日常相處也有類似付出：我們陪笑、點頭，讓場面繼續。體貼有它的價值，但如果只因為對方比較資深，就得不斷讓他滿意，這份要求值得重新想想。

所以，有些年輕人願意先問自己「這件事，我要配合嗎」，我覺得值得學。必要的合作仍要負責，是否勉強陪笑，卻可以有所選擇。

而當我們成為前輩，也值得問問：我想幫他，還是希望他認同我的經驗？如果建議附帶著「你要照做、要感激」的要求，再好的心意，也可能成為對方收不下的禮物。

節目裡，我會說明 Z 世代凝視在談什麼，分享沉默可能出現的原因，也聊聊有歷練的人，怎麼讓經驗成為支持。先了解對方需要什麼，保留他選擇的空間，我們的關心才有機會被好好接住。
