Sekolah Negeri di Blora Tidak Dapat Siswa Baru, Akan Di-Regrouping
BLORA, KOMPAS.TV - Potret miris dunia pendidikan terjadi di Blora, Jawa Tengah. Dua sekolah dasar negeri tak mendapat siswa baru pada penerimaan murid baru tahun ajaran 2025 - 2026.Sedangkan sejumlah sekolah hanya mendapat siswa baru di bawah 10 orang.
Menjelang tahun ajaran baru 2025 - 2026, dua sekolah negeri di Blora, Jawa Tengah, yakni SDN 1 Patalan dan SDN 2 Sumengko, tak mendapat siswa baru.
Kondisi ini akibat sekolah tersebut kalah bersaing dengan sekolah lain, sehingga orang tua calon siswa mendaftarkan anak mereka ke sekolah swasta.
Sejumlah langkah diambil pemerintah, mulai dari tetap membuka pendaftaran bagi siswa baru untuk dua sekolah tersebut hingga tahun ajaran baru dimulai, dan akan melakukan regrouping atau penggabungan dengan sekolah yang lokasinya berdekatan.
Pihak sekolah menyerahkan keputusan ke Dinas Pendidikan, meski berharap masih ingin mempertahankan keberadaan sekolah.
Kepala Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Blora, Sunaryo, bilang proses penggabungan sejumlah sekolah dilakukan karena minimnya jumlah siswa. Saat ini banyak sekolah yang muridnya tidak sampai 60 siswa.
Di tahun 2025 ini, Dinas Pendidikan berencana menggabungkan kembali sekitar 40 sekolah yang kekurangan siswa.
