মদ্যপ ও অত্যাচারী স্বামী মোহনের হাতে স্ত্রী যশোদার জীবন নরক হয়ে ওঠে। অত্যাচার সহ্য করতে না পেরে যশোদা বাপের বাড়ি ফিরলে, মোহন সেখানেও অশান্তি শুরু করে। এরপর একদিন দুপুরে ঠাকুরবাড়ির বারান্দায় মোহন নৃশংসভাবে খুন হয়। অফিসার সুব্রত নাগ তদন্ত শুরু করে বহু সন্দেহভাজনকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করেন। খুনের কারণ ও সত্য উদ্ঘাটনের পথে তদন্তের মোড় ঘুরে যায় পরিবারের দিকেই। উপযুক্ত প্রমাণের অভাবে, এই রহস্যময় মামলার কিনারা ক্রমে জটিল হয়ে পড়ে।
Yashoda's life turns into a living hell due to her abusive and alcoholic husband, Mohan. When she returns to her parents, Mohan follows and continues his harassment for money. One afternoon, Mohan is brutally murdered in broad daylight at his in-laws' home. Officer Subrata Nag investigates, questioning multiple suspects. As the complex motives emerge, the trail surprisingly leads back to the family. However, the lack of a murder weapon and concrete evidence makes solving the case a significant challenge.
