Dheeraj Kalwani dilaporkan usai filmnya viral dan dianggap bikin publik gaduh.
Dheeraj dilaporkan oleh Asosiasi Lawyer Muslim Indonesia (ALMI) ke Bareskrim Polri pada Selasa (28/5/2024).
Pelapor menilai jika film Vina: Sebelum 7 Hari dinilai membuat gaduh hingga muncul asumsi liar terhadap penanganan oleh pihak polisi.
Pihak pelapor masih melalui proses konsultasi dengan penyidik untuk menentukan delik pidana dalam film itu.
Sementara Bareskrim tak lantas segera memproses pelaporan itu, pihaknya meminta ALMI mengadukan film itu kepada KPI lebih dulu dan Lembaga Sensor Film.
Dikutip dari Bangkapos, menanggapi hal itu, Dheeraj mengatakan jika film itu tidak provokatif.
“Sama sekali nggak provokatif, provokatif dari mananya,” ucap Dheeraj dikutip Tribun-medan.com dari Tribunnews.
Dirinya menegaskan jika film itu memang punya alur cerita yang bersumber dari pihak keluarga almarhumah Vina.
“Film ini narasumbernya dari keluarga, di-ending kita juga menyebut berdasarkan video kesurupan dari teman almarhumah,” tambahnya.
Soal provokatif atau tidak, Dheeraj meminta publik harusnya bisa membedakan film dengan fakta-fakta kasus. (Tribun-Video.com/RisaAsmarani)
