Caravana Mundial #CubaNext fue un éxito rotundo, afirma Alex Otaola.
En este segmento de Hola! Ota-Ola, el activista e influencer cubanoamericano Alex Otaola confirma que la Caravana Mundial convocada por la Fundación Cubana Anticomunista fue, según sus palabras, un “éxito rotundo”.La movilización partió desde el Tropical Park y recorrió varias millas hasta llegar a la Ermita de la Caridad, donde miles de cubanos se congregaron para pedir libertad para la Isla y rendir homenaje al líder opositor Oswaldo Payá, asesinado en 2012. Durante la jornada se develó un banco con su nombre y se celebró una misa en su honor.
Otaola destacó que incluso al finalizar el acto religioso continuaban llegando vehículos al recinto, lo que, según organizadores, convirtió la convocatoria en una de las mayores concentraciones vistas en la Ermita. También mencionó la presencia del encargado de negocios de Estados Unidos en La Habana, Mike Hammer, quien pudo constatar el alcance de la movilización.
El mensaje central de la caravana fue claro: presión firme contra el régimen cubano y respaldo a una transición democrática. Para Otaola, el eco internacional de la jornada demuestra que el exilio mantiene capacidad de convocatoria y que el grito de “Cuba Next” se escuchó alto y claro.
