España vive una de las peores crisis de incendios forestales de los últimos años, con múltiples focos activos y cifras alarmantes. En este 2025, más de 100.000 hectáreas han sido calcinadas, cerca de 38.000  se han quemado en León, en el que podría convertirse en el incendio más devastador registrado en nuestra historia reciente. Hay al menos 3 personas fallecidas durante las labores de extinción y evacuación.
El Gobierno ha solicitado ayuda europea, la UE ha enviado un par de aviones cisterna, y ha movilizado todos los recursos disponibles para frenar esta emergencia.

Por otro lado, todas las miradas están puestas en la reunión que tendrá lugar mañana entre Putin y Trump en Alaska. La propuesta de EE.UU. incluiría incentivos económicos: acceso a los recursos naturales de Alaska, minerales ucranianos de tierras raras y el alivio de sanciones a Rusia. En Ucrania, que no participará en las negociaciones, la desconfianza es generalizada. La UE, que tampoco ha sido invitada a participar, también ha expresado su preocupación.
