Riesiger Waldbrand in Ruhpolding: 160 Hektar zerstört – Lage stabilisiert sich leichtDer massive Waldbrand am Saurüsselkopf bei Ruhpolding zählt zu den größten in Bayern seit Jahren. Rund 160 Hektar Wald sind bereits zerstört. Elf Hubschrauber kämpfen aus der Luft gegen die Flammen, während das steile Gelände den Einsatz erschwert. Erste Hoffnung: In der Nacht stabilisiert sich die Lage, eine weitere Ausbreitung wird vorerst gestoppt. Doch Entwarnung geben die Behörden nicht. Besonders im Fokus steht der Schutz des Trinkwasserschutzgebiets Laubau, das für die Region von zentraler Bedeutung ist. Die Brandursache bleibt weiterhin ungeklärt.
