Sandiaga Uno Beberkan Event Olahraga Internasional, Gelontorkan Dana hingga Rp1 Triliun
Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Uno membocorkan berbagai event olahraga di tahun mendatang yang bakal digelar di Indonesia. Hal itu dia sampaikan usai rapat terbatas dengan presiden Joko Widodo di Istana Merdeka, Jakarta Pusat, Selasa (9/7/2024).Mulai dari MotoGP Mandalika, kejuaraan selancar dunia di tujuh titik, hingga kompetisi gulat UFC yang perdana bakal digelar di Tanah Air.
Sandiaga Uno juga membeberkan anggaran yang diperlukan dalam menyelenggarakan berbagai event olahraga serta berbagai strategi pendanaannya.
"Tadi ditoal kebutuhan biaya antara Rp500 miliar - Rp1 triliun. nanti akan diseleksi dan dihitung lagi termasuk berapa biaya operasional dan biaya hosting fee-nya sehingga tidak akan memberatkan anggaran di tahun depan," ujar Sandiaga Uno.
Untuk sementara, anggaran biaya tersebut bakal dibebankan pada dana abadi pariwisata atau Indonesia Quality Tourism Fund (IQTF) dan APBN 2025.
Meski demikian, Sandiaga Uno menyebut banyaknya efek bagus dalam menyelenggarakan ajang olahraga bergengsi dunia. Mulai dari mendatangkan turis mancanegara hingga menggerakan ekonomi.
