Sikap Korea Selatan atas Kiriman Balon Sampah dari Korea Utara
JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Korea Selatan mengancam untuk memulai kembali siaran propaganda anti-Pyongyang di garis depan dalam kampanye gaya Perang Dingin terbaru antara kedua negara, selasa (25/6/2024).Korea Utara melanjutkan peluncuran ratusan balon pembawa sampahnya.
Adapun isi balon-balon besar yang membawa kantong plastik berisi sampah melintasi perbatasan dalam kampanye kelima sejak akhir Mei 2024.
"Kami siap segera menyalakan pengeras suara. Seperti yang saya katakan tadi, kami akan fleksibel melakukan (siaran pengeras suara) sesuai dengan keadaan operasional strategis," kata Jubir Kastaf Gabungan Korea Selatan Lee Sung Joon dilansir dari South Korean Defense Ministry.
Militer Korea Selatan mengatakan Korea Utara menerbangkan sekitar 350 balon dalam kampanye terbarunya.
Militer pastikan sampah yang dibawa balon Korea Utara sebagian besar berupa kertas dan tidak ditemukan barang berbahaya.
