Wakil Ketua Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) Jasra Putra menegaskan perlunya evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap program tersebut.
Menurut Jasra, kejadian keracunan yang menimpa anak-anak, termasuk kelompok Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini, sudah tidak bisa ditoleransi.
Ia menilai pemerintah harus lebih peka terhadap kondisi kesehatan anak.
KPAI mengusulkan penghentian sementara program hingga instrumen pengawasan benar-benar diterapkan.
Jasra menekankan pentingnya standar keamanan pangan yang terukur untuk mencegah kasus serupa terulang.
Ia menambahkan, kesehatan anak usia dini jauh lebih rentan dibanding orang dewasa.
Karena itu, perlu ada petugas khusus untuk memastikan keamanan makanan yang dibagikan.
Selain itu, KPAI meminta pemerintah memperhatikan aspek higienitas makanan, mulai dari bahan, proses memasak, hingga penyajiannya.
KPAI juga mendorong adanya mekanisme pengaduan dan evaluasi langsung dari masyarakat.
