El reto más duro de mi vida: del hospital a la meta del IRONMAN 70.3
Hace 5 meses tuve el mayor susto de mi vida: accidente con pérdida de conciencia, ingreso en hospital, operación y meses de rehabilitación. Han pasado 9 meses desde mi último vídeo largo aquí, y os debo una explicación. Tuve un accidente que casi me manda al otro barrio. Mi hermano Jaime también se accidentó, y tuvo que verme inconsciente en el suelo temiendo lo peor 🥲
Las primeras semanas fueron muy duras. Salía a pasear muy despacito y tenía que sentarme por los dolores. Me operaron de la clavícula, subí de peso hasta los 95 kg y mi forma física empeoro más que nunca. Pero tenía una cosa clara: la prioridad era mi salud. Me centré en la rehabilitación día a día, siempre con optimismo, y cuando los médicos me dieron el ok volví a entrenar poco a poco. TODO SUMA.
Después de meses de rehabilitación, por fin podía enfrentarme de nuevo a un reto físico duro de los que me gustan. Un medio IRONMAN: 2 km nadando en mar abierto, 90 km en bici y 21 km corriendo. 113 km en total, contra mi hermano pequeño. Pero esta vez no buscaba ganarle a él. Buscaba ganarme a mí mismo y saber si mi cuerpo era capaz de aguantar. El resto...te lo cuento en el vídeo.
