Він народився в Україні у в’єтнамській родині, виріс у російськомовному середовищі, а українську вивчив спочатку завдяки суворій вчительці, а згодом – заради кохання. Коли почалось повномасштабне вторгнення РФ, україномовний в’єтнамець Коля Нгуен був у В’єтнамі з дружиною та трьома дітьми. Та за пів року, попри постійні обстріли і блекаути – родина повернулася до України. Сьогодні Коля веде блог українською, мотивуючи тисячі людей переходити на солов’їну, показує життя в Одесі та знайомить українців зі справжньою в’єтнамською кухнею. За його усмішкою, ранковими пробіжками та запливами в морі – особиста втрата: у перший місяць повномасштабної війни в бойових діях загинув його близький друг.
