Hitzewelle in Europa
Rekord-Temperaturen in Spanien und Portugal, Waldbrände am Mittelmeer und Hitze selbst in Großbritannien: Europa ächzt weiter unter einer frühen und extremen Hitzewelle. Spanien meldete am Montag mit 46 Grad Celsius in Huelva einen neuen Juni-Hitzerekord.Auch in Deutschland werden zur Wochenmitte Extremtemperaturen von bis zu 40 Grad erwartet. Der Deutsche Wetterdienst sagt örtlich bis zu 40 Grad Celsius und verbreitet Temperaturen zwischen 34 und 38 Grad voraus. Der Mittwoch wird laut DWD der bisher heißeste Tag des Sommers. In vielen Regionen galten schon am Montag Hitzewarnungen. Auch die Waldbrandgefahr steigt.
