CEUTA: 49.000 Migranten erreichen spanische Enklave – „Der Schlüssel liegt in Marokko!“ Migrationsforscher Gerald Knaus

Im Gespräch mit dem Migrationsforscher Gerald Knaus geht es um die Lage in Ceuta und die irreguläre Migration nach Spanien. Knaus beschreibt die Situation als außergewöhnlich. Die Zahlen der Menschen, die irregulär nach Spanien kommen, seien zuletzt gesunken. Der Schlüssel liege aus seiner Sicht in Marokko und der Frage nach Kontrollen sowie Rücknahmen.

Der Migrationsforscher kritisiert Forderungen nach einem Schengen-Eingreifen. Das Problem liege nicht bei Spanien. Entscheidend sei die Kooperation mit Marokko. Die Europäische Union müsse geschlossen auftreten und Abkommen mit sicheren Drittstaaten schließen.
