Grant Hill's Sky Walking Dunk Past Toronto’s Chauncey Billups

March 20, 1998 - Grant Hill clipping his left leg on Chauncey Billups' thigh added an incidental touch of sky-walking flare to an open floor foray midway through a 105-99 Pistons win over the Toronto Raptors. Hill led the Pistons with 25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

Billups, meanwhile, played in just 29 games for the Toronto Raptors. Drafted third overall by the Boston Celtics, Billups was shipped to Toronto midway through his rookie season. After finishing his rookie campaign with the Raptors, he was unceremoniously dealt to the Denver Nuggets.

The clip above could be an odd watch for Pistons fans, as Hill's eventual exit from Detroit would lead to a series of events that would ultimately lead to Chauncey Billups' Finals MVP run en route to propelling the Pistons to their third championship in franchise history.

Both Hill and Billups would end up being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
