Como parte de su agenda del 4 de junio, el canciller chino también sostuvo un encuentro en Beijing con el enviado especial del presidente de Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU) en China, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak. Wang Yi dijo que las relaciones entre China y EAU se mantienen sólidas bajo la guía estratégica de los jefes de Estado de ambos países y refrendó el compromiso de China de apoyarse mutuamente en las cuestiones de interés fundamental de cada uno, mantener una estrecha coordinación en asuntos internacionales y regionales, además de promover el desarrollo de la asociación estratégica integral bilateral.
