Otaola responde al noticiero cubano que blanquea a GAESA

El activista cubano Alex Otaola RESPONDIÓ esta semana al noticiero de la televisión estatal cubana que salió a defender al conglomerado militar GAESA, presentando el programa de viviendas de la comunidad Cubanacán como prueba de que el grupo "beneficia al pueblo". Otaola desmontó esa narrativa punto por punto y la calificó de propaganda del régimen.

El segmento, presentado por la periodista oficialista Maricela Recacens, afirmó que GAESA construyó modernos complejos habitacionales asociados al desarrollo del turismo. Sin embargo, Otaola señaló que se trata de EDIFICIOS PREFABRICADOS de los años 80 presentados como obras nuevas de 2017, y recordó que de un plan de 3.000 viviendas apenas se habrían entregado 600.

El contexto es clave: el régimen rompió su histórico silencio sobre GAESA solo después de que la Administración Trump firmara la Orden Ejecutiva 14404 (1 de mayo de 2026) y fijara el 5 de junio como plazo para que empresas extranjeras cortaran vínculos con el grupo militar, que según reportes controla entre el 40% y el 70% de la economía formal de la isla.

Otaola denunció que esos apartamentos no son para el cubano de a pie, sino VIVIENDAS PARAMILITARES destinadas a militares, oficiales retirados y agentes de la Seguridad del Estado, mientras el pueblo sufre apagones de hasta 25 horas y combatientes abandonados comen de la basura. Recordó además los señalados 18.000 millones de dólares atribuidos a GAESA en paraísos fiscales mientras no se construye una vivienda digna.
