Namun setelah wilayah Israel di serang Hamas dan militan Hizbullah, wilayah Tel Aviv semakin tidak kondusif.
Alasan ini yang mendorong AS untuk kembali mengirimkan paket berisi bom.
Untuk mengecoh publik Washington dilaporkan mengirim kedua jenis bom tersebut dalam satu paket.
Dikabarkan, pemerintah AS secara diam-diam mengirimkan ratusan bom tersebut untuk kebutuhan perang IDF.
Negeri Paman Sam tersebut mulai memasok senjata ke Israel secara terpisah meski mendapat banyak kecaman dari sejumlah pihak.
Para aktivis hak asasi manusia bahkan menyatakan keprihatinannya atas penjualan tersebut.
Mereka menyebut tindakan Amerika tidak sejalan dengan upaya Washington untuk menekan Israel agar meminimalkan korban sipil di Gaza.
Justru transfer senjata dapat memperparah perundingan damai yang sedang diusahakan.
