Palm Beach Synagogue Dedicates Torah in Israel in Memory of Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas
PALM BEACH, FL — In a powerful display of unity and remembrance, Palm Beach Synagogue dedicated a Torah in Israel on Tuesday in memory of Shiri Bibas and her young children, Ariel and Kfir, who were murdered in captivity after being taken hostage by Hamas on October 7th.The gathering was attended by Yarden Bibas, who survived the attack and was later released from captivity, along with his family. In an emotional moment, Yarden wrote the final three letters of the Torah in honor of his wife and children. He expressed his wish to dedicate the Torah to the synagogue in the Kibbutz where his sons had their Brit Milah, ensuring their legacy endures in a place of deep personal significance.
This dedication is part of a broader initiative led by Rabbi Moshe Scheiner and the Palm Beach Synagogue community to honor the victims of the Simchat Torah massacre. Several Torahs are being donated in memory of the families who perished, bringing merit and spiritual elevation to their souls.
As the Bibas family prepares for the funerals, the Torah dedication served as a source of hope, strength, and comfort, uniting the Jewish community in mourning and resilience. Receive SMS online on sms24.me
