Frau in Mannheim getötet – 17-jähriger Tatverdächtiger in Haft

Mannheim – Ein 17-Jähriger steht im dringenden Verdacht, am frühen Mittwochmorgen, 11. März 2026, eine 19-jährige Frau getötet zu haben.

Der Jugendliche soll seit über einem Jahr in einer Beziehung mit der Frau gewesen sein. Am Dienstagabend trafen sie sich, später gingen beide zum Karlstern in Mannheim-Gartenstadt. Dort soll er die Frau gegen 0.30 Uhr angegriffen und tödlich verletzt haben. Die Leiche wurde am Mittwochmorgen von einer Spaziergängerin gefunden.

Die Ermittlungen einer 60-köpfigen Sonderkommission führten noch am Mittwochabend zur Festnahme des Tatverdächtigen. Auf Antrag der Staatsanwaltschaft erließ das Amtsgericht Mannheim Haftbefehl wegen Mordes. Der 17-Jährige wurde am Donnerstag in eine Justizvollzugsanstalt eingeliefert.
