Konferenz in Bremerhaven: Innenminister beraten über Gewalttaten

Ex-Familienministerin Lisa Paus (Grüne) wirbt für die Einführung einer elektronischen Fußfessel, um Frauen besser vor Gewalttaten zu schützen. „Das Beispiel Spanien zeigt, dass es tatsächlich gut funktionieren kann“, sagte sie im Deutschlandfunk. In Spanien tragen Betroffene einen GPS-Empfänger – befindet sich der potenzielle Täter mit der Fußfessel absichtlich oder unabsichtlich in der Nähe, wird Alarm ausgelöst, auch bei der Polizei.

Paus appellierte an die zurzeit in Bremerhaven tagende Konferenz der Innenminister von Bund und Ländern, einen von der Ampel-Regierung auf den Weg gebrachten entsprechenden Gesetzentwurf voranzutreiben. Wegen rechtlicher Hürden sei eine bundesweit einheitliche Anwendung der Fußfessel bisher nicht möglich.
