Many humanoid robots are ending up in hotel lobbies, coffee shops and exhibitions rather than factories and homes. Despite producing thousands of robots, China is now betting $295 billion on AI infrastructure to make them smarter, more useful and commercially viable. China may have won the race to build the robot body. But can it build the brain before the humanoid robot bubble bursts?
