TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Menteri Agama (Mehag) Nasaruddin Umar merespons soal potensi perbedaan awal Ramadhan 1446 Hijriah.

Menurut Nasaruddin, semua pihak dapat memprediksi kapan bulan Ramadhan 2025 dimulai, Kamis (27/2/2025).

Hal ini disampaikan Nasaruddin merespons Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) yang menyebut ada potensi perbedaan jatuhnya awal puasa Ramadhan 2025 antara pemerintah dengan Muhammadiyah.

Namun Nasaruddin menekankan keputusan pemerintah mengenai awal bulan puasa akan diambil pada sidang isbat yang digelar pada Jumat (28/2/2025) hari ini.

Kemenag akan melakukan pemantauan hilal (rukyatulhilal) awal Ramadhan 1446 Hijriah di 125 titik di seluruh Indonesia pada 28 Februari 2025 sekitar pukul 07.44 WIB.

Menurut Menag, jika ada yang menyaisikan hilal terlihat, tidak perlu menunda penetapan awal puasa.

Namun jika hilal belum terlihat maka dilakukan diskusi.

Sebagai informasi, BRIN memprediksi tanggal 1 Ramadhan 1446 H akan jatuh pada 2 Maret 2025 berdasarkan metode penentuan hisab dan rukyat.

Prediksi kapan awal puasa Ramadhan 2025 tersebut berbeda dengan yang telah ditetapkan Muhammadiyah, di mana 1 Ramadhan 1446 H jatuh pada 1 Maret 2025.

PP Muhammadiyah juga telah menetapkan Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1446 H jatuh pada Senin, 31 Maret 2025.

Artinya puasa berlangsung 30 hari.

Maklumat tersebut diumumkan Sekretaris PP Muhammadiyah Muhammad Sayuti dalam konferensi pers pada Rabu (12/2/2025) lalu.

Untuk menentukan awal puasa Ramadhan 2025, pemerintah melalui Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) akan melaksanakan sidang isbat pada 28 Februari 2025.

Sama seperti pemerintah, Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) belum menetapkan awal Ramadhan 2025.(*)
