Proteste gegen Erdgas-Probebohrungen in Reichling | BR24 vor Ort
Umstrittene Erdgasbohrung in Reichling: Klimaaktivisten wollen verhindern, dass hier nach Erdgas gebohrt wird und protestieren. Sie klagen über Lärmbelästigung und fürchten um die Qualität ihres Trinkwassers. Außerdem sind sie generell für einen Ausstieg aus den fossilen Energien - aus Gründen des Klimaschutzes. Aber sie können nicht verhindern, dass hier der 40 Meter hohe Bohrturm für Probebohrungen aufgebaut wurde. Mit Ergebnissen, ob sich eine Erdgasförderung in Reichling lohnt, ist allerdings erst nächstes Jahr zu rechnen. Dort werden insgesamt 500 Millionen Kubikmeter Erdgas im Boden vermutet - nur ein Bruchteil der heimischen Erdgasförderung. Trotzdem könnte sich die Förderung über zehn bis 15 Jahre hinweg lohnen.
