[Großbrand in Ratzeburg] Einsatzfahrten von Feuerwehr und THW zum Großeinsatz in Ratzeburg
Hier zu sehen, sind verschiedene Einsatzfahrzeuge von Feuerwehr und THW auf Anfahrt zu einem Großbrand in Ratzeburg.Am Abend des 07.05.2026 kam es in der Inselstadt zu einem Großeinsatz. Zunächst wurden die Einsatzkräfte zu einem Carportbrand alarmiert. Bereits auf der Anfahrt konnten die Kräfte eine starke Rauchentwicklung feststellen und erhöhten das Einsatzstichwort. Das Feuer breitete sich auf ein angrenzendes Wohnhaus sowie auf diverse PKW, Gasflaschen und Anhänger über.
Zur Unterstützung kamen Kräfte der Technischen Einsatzleitung, dem Löschzug-Gefahrgut und weiteren Feuerwehren aus den umliegenden Gemeinden. Im späteren Einsatzverlauf unterstützten auch das THW und die DLRG Ratzeburg an der Einsatzstelle.

On the evening of May 7, 2026, a large-scale emergency operation took place in the island town. Initially, emergency services were dispatched to a carport fire. While en route, crews already noticed heavy smoke development and upgraded the incident level. The fire spread to a neighboring residential building as well as to several cars, gas cylinders, and trailers.
To support the operation, units from the Technical Operations Command, the Hazardous Materials Unit, and additional fire departments from surrounding communities were deployed. Later in the operation, the THW and the DLRG Ratzeburg also assisted at the scene.
Visible in the video are the logistics vehicle of the Ratzeburg Fire Department, the command vehicle of the Technical Operations Command, the command unit vehicle of the Hazardous Materials Unit, an ambulance of the HLR, as well as a multi-purpose logistics vehicle and a truck-mounted crane from the THW local association in Ratzeburg.
