MP blames CLIMATE CHANGE for Liberal failures, Poilievre delivers BASED speech
On today’s episode of the Candice Malcolm Show News Update, Candice dissects Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s big speech at the Economic Club of Canada in Toronto. Poilievre looked confident and in control as he masterfully critiqued the Liberal government and its pivot towards China.Do you know who agrees with Poilievre? Former Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland, who unknowingly echoed Poilievre’s critiques during a recent Bloomberg interview about President Trump’s State of the Union.
Next, the Alberta budget was tabled yesterday and Candice goes through the highlights and lowlights of what we saw from the UCP.
Candice then takes aim at Liberal MP Adam van Koeverden who scolded Conservatives in the House of Commons for not knowing that the real cause of food inflation is… climate change. The internet quickly fact-checked this absurd claim and pointed out that Canada’s food inflation is literally double that of other G7 nations. Oops.
Next, Candice discusses the problem with foreign aid and the bigger problem of CPC mixed-messaging on this issue. The Liberals have already pounced and cut an ad trying to embarrass the Conservatives for apparent contradictions. The ad, of course, is highly misleading, but could be effective nonetheless.
Finally, it’s Fake News Friday on the Candice Malcolm Show, and Candice highlights the most pathetic takes from our legacy media over Team USA’s Gold Medal victory lap and reveals the real reason they go after hockey players.
