Juru bicara militer Israel mengumumkan tewasnya sejumlah prajuritnya pada Selasa (23/9/2025).
Ada dua tentara Israel yang dilaporkan terbunuh dalam serangan tersebut namun, ada pula yang terluka.
Korban tewas pertama ialah Mayor Shahar Netanel.
Ia merupakan seorang komandan kompi lapis baja.
Bentrokan sengit dengan Hamas di Kota Gaza membuat Shahar mengalami luka serius hingga akhirnya tewas.
Saluran 12 Israel juga melaporkan tewasnya Mayor Shachar Netanel Buzaglo (27) dari Migdal Ha'Emek.
Ia tewas dalam pertempuran yang berlangsung di Jalur Gaza utara.
Bouzaglou adalah komandan kompi "Vulcan" di Batalyon ke-77 Brigade Lapis Baja ke-7.
Ia tewas pada Senin (22/9) saat peluru RPG menghantam tank yang ia tumpangi.
Dengan diumumkannya kematian mereka, jumlah personel tentara Israel yang namanya diizinkan untuk dipublikasikan telah meningkat menjadi 911.
