Proses pemakaman ini disesuaikan dengan wasiat dari salah satu korban, yaitu Haji Sachroni.
Di lokasi kejadian, sejumlah warga dan kerabat sudah memenuhi area masjid untuk pelaksanaan salat jenazah.
Isak tangis mulai pecah ketika satu per satu dari lima jenazah diturunkan dari mobil ambulans.
Keluarga terlihat sangat terpukul atas kejadian nahas yang menimpa para korban.
Perlu diketahui lima korban pembunuhan ini diantaranya adalah
Haji Sachroni (70), anaknya Budi (43), menantunya Euis (37), cucunya R (7), serta seorang bayi berusia delapan bulan.
Mereka merupakan warga dari Kelurahan Paoman, Kecamatan/Kabupaten Indramayu.
Kelima korban pertama kali ditemukan dalam kondisi tewas mengenaskan oleh tetangga, Selasa (2/9), sekira pukul 17.30 WIB.
Tubuh Sachroni dijumpai terkubur bersama dengan empat anggota keluarga lainnya di halaman rumah.
Adapun menurut keterangan kerabat almarhum, Agus, sejauh ini pihak keluarga belum menerima keterangan dari pihak kepolisian soal adanya tersangka.
Ia juga turut memastikan tidak ada perlakuan berbeda yang diterima korban sebelum tragedi pembunuhan terjadi.
Kendati demikian, kasus pembunuhan masih terus bergulir hingga kini di Polres Indramayu.
