Учёные изучают, какие угрозы они могут представлять для Земли.🔬 Особое внимание привлекает кальдера Кикай у берегов Японии: исследования показали, что её подземный резервуар магмы, вероятно, вновь пополняется. Это не означает, что катастрофическое извержение неизбежно или произойдёт в ближайшее время, но помогает лучше понять поведение супервулканов.
