Pelaku pembunuhan berinisal WD (22) yang berasal dari Indramayu, Jawa Barat.
Sementara korban diketahui merupakan kekasih mantan istrinya.
WD nekat menghabisi pacar mantan istrinya karena kesal mendapati obrolan korban dengan mantan istrinya tersebut di akun media sosial (medsos) Facebook.
Hal itu disampaikan oleh Kapolres Majalengka, AKBP Indra Novianto pada Jumat (17/1/2025).
Ia mengatakan bahwa WD juga beberapa kali sempat mengajak korban untuk bertemu.
Namun hal tersebut tidak digubris oleh korban, sehingga emosi WD semakin memuncak.
Akhirnya, tersangka menggunakan akun wanita lain untuk berpura-pura kenalan dengan korban dan mengajak bertemu
Kemudian terjadilah pertemuan tersebut, namum pelaku langsung menabrak korban menggunakan motor dan menikam korban menggunakan senjata tajam jenis celurit hingga badik sebanyak 11 kali.
Korban dinyatakan meninggal dunia di tempat kejadian perkara (TKP).
