Schwerer Unfall auf der B45 bei Meckesheim
Meckesheim: Am Mittwochvormittag, gegen 09:20 Uhr, kam es auf der B45 bei Meckesheim zu einem folgenschweren Verkehrsunfall.Ein 62-jähriger Opel-Fahrer wollte von der B45 nach links in die Zuzenhäuser Straße abbiegen, als er mit dem Ford eines 64-Jährigen kollidierte, der aus Richtung Neckargemünd in Richtung Sinsheim unterwegs war.
Der Opel-Fahrer wurde leicht verletzt und direkt vor Ort vom Rettungsdienst medizinisch versorgt. Der Ford-Fahrer erlitt schwere, jedoch nicht lebensgefährliche Verletzungen und wurde zur weiteren Behandlung ins Krankenhaus gebracht.
Beide Fahrzeuge wurden bei dem Aufprall so stark beschädigt, dass sie nicht mehr fahrbereit waren und abgeschleppt werden mussten – an beiden entstand Totalschaden.
Für die Unfallaufnahme und die anschließenden Aufräumarbeiten musste die B45 zwischen Meckesheim und dem Abzweig nach Eschelbronn vollständig gesperrt werden. Gegen 13:15 Uhr wurde die Strecke wieder freigegeben.
