60 Minutes pure aviation, today with east eu planes only. I am mainly interested in unique and rare planes and that` s why I was always driving to airports where something rare was expected. Especially the Ilyushin IL76 was one of my favorite aircrafts and I often drove to airports like Eindhoven or Geilenkirchen, whenever one of these weird but unique looking planes was expected.The first plane in this video is an Antonov AN74 which arrived at Düsseldorf Airport a long time ago. Of course I went to the airport to film it. The aircraft was mainly designed to allow airlines to land this plane on unpaved runways, gravel strips or grass runways. They high engines would make it much more difficult for gravel to reach and damage the engines.
